This was going about as well as the second volume, except the art style wasn't as nice to look at. It was a little better at matching the scenes to the dialogue though. Again, I liked the characters. They just need more nuance and time, which this series hasn't taken. The reason I liked it more than the second volume is the ending. It wasn't perfect but I liked it. It answered many of the questions that I had. The cliffhanger was very un-Sanderson-like though. Not because he wouldn't write one, but that he wouldn't end a series leaving a big part of the magic system unexplained. Maybe there'll be a sequel, one that's not a graphic novel hopefully.

Amazing story. I think the graphic audio for these are amazing. I heard the artist for this book is different so I might have to give it a shot

Can't believe I gave a Sanderson book less than 4 stars

3.5 I guess.
Could have been so much better as a regular novel, or even if the action sequences had been better fleshed out like in manga. Also felt considerably lacking in character development of minor characters, something which Sanderson usually excels at. I guess that's because this doesn't really translate well into the Graphic Novel format. Or it does, and I'm just setting my standards too high for anything Sanderson. Really want a sequel tho.
