The series as a whole was fine and nothing special. The last few pages were interesting enough, but I wouldn't recommend this series.

This. Was. So. GOOD!!! A wonderful ending to such an interesting world where the sun bakes one side of the planet and leaves the other in darkness. I love the magic and I love the way the world reflects these two different sides of the world.

The Sanderlanche lives on; though, the landing isn't quite as satisfying when the plot points feel like cramming large rocks in an already full vase of sand.
