Poor Camryn and Sterling, they are thrown together when Sterling gets the worst type of ultimatum that seems almost impossible for him to be able to do. Camryn is hired to help Sterling achieve his goal within 6 months, this is not the type of job she wants to help Sterling with, however she needs him to achieve it not only for himself but for her. While working together Camryn along with Sterling figure out "being friends" like they have doesn't really work for them now but neither will admit how they really feel which causes nothing but trouble. An extremely well written book with a story line that keeps you glued to the pages, you cant help but laugh, roll your eyes, yell and maybe even shed a tear. Trust me I know this, as I read this in one sitting when I was originally only going to read a few pages !

You will not be disappointing with this book!!

The obstacles preventing them from being a couple were not realistic. Also, it felt like they’d just randomly start having sex in the middle of a scene.

I listened to this book via Audible. The voice actors were amazing!

Genre: Adult Contemporary Romance

The MMC needs to marry to receive his inheritance, but falls for his matchmaker. This book was okay, but nothing new or super innovative. The tropes and general layout of the book was very typical for this kind of plot.

This was just insta love done wrong. I mean she mentions that they have known each other for a long time but they act like they met yesterday. And then like 2 seconds later they have deep feelings for the other. Also these characters had no depth and I didn’t connect with them at all. They had no personality other than he was a man whore and she was acting like a child.
Another thing that bothered me was that there wasn't an actual conflict because there were no obsticles for them to get through and be together. Nothing that would keep them apart. They were the problem because they, but mostly Cam, just made up unnecessary stuff about why they shouldn't be together. And I actually thought that this would be a story of an arranged marriage but it wasn't. It was this stupid wanna be The Bachelor nonsense. And then, oh boy, that Anna girl who was supposed to be Cam's bff literally betrayed her. It was so stupid and cringe-worthy. This book was really not great. The only good thing is that it was short but that leads to the lack of character development and the terrible insta love with no real chemistry between the main characters.
I just couldn't care less about Stirling and Cam.
The only reason why I'm giving this book two stars and not one is because they had some cute moments and I didn’t hate it. I just didn’t really care.

Excellent narrators.

I let it go when he called a woman’s breasts cantaloupes, I let it go when she in-ironically took notes from a reality show about what men like (lady in the streets freak in the sheets

This was ok. It was very short and an easy read though a bit unreal - meaning the “conflict” didn’t really seem to have a place in the story.
