Better than I thought it would be, but not sure I would recommend it.
Why did it have to be Bill O'Reilly?
This was a selection from the neighborhood free little library. I figured it couldn't hurt to know a little bit more about Abraham Lincoln. The book was an easy read and pretty interesting, but it was hard to separate what was fact from speculation. There was a lot of dialog, inner thoughts, and motivations attributed to John Wilkes Booth, and it makes it hard to trust the story. Just sell it as speculative instead of a biography, and it would have been so much better.
At the end of reading, I felt like I got a perhaps mostly factual, somewhat verifiable, end of the Civil War history lesson refresher with a dubious account of JWB's plotting and Lincoln's last days.
