This is a brilliantly crafted collection of voices. Each page of the book is home to an individual voice, and that creates, at least for me, individuality behind each story. The artwork in this book is also beautiful and unique to each story, adding another element of individuality and bringing the stories to life. 

I also think this would be a good book to recommend to a reader who may not be confident, comfortable, or interested in nonfiction. The stories are powerful and complete in themselves, and together they create a beautiful collection, but being individual makes the content less overwhelming and easier to break down.
