Another great book by Daniel Hurst. I was drawn in right from the start. Kept me interested all the way through. Couldn’t wait to see what happened. Brilliant read as always!

i could not take it anymore, i really tried.
i kept putting it away and picking it back up at different times, but I couldn't do it anymore. i got to about 33% of the book before i gave up!
the writing style is BLAND!!! and boring, and no feelings, or intensity, or thrill!
the characters are just annoying, and feel meh! I couldn't hate them properly, nor could i sympathize or like them! it was a miss in every way!
the story was supposed to be interesting, as the body of the Dr found dead in the opening of the book is actually a narcissistic husband, with a mistress, who was also married. oh, and his wives secretly know about the mistress, and that they moved cities to be able to be close!
my guess is that 1 of 2 scenarios, either both women would come together to end him and make it kook like an accident on the beach
or his wife ( who is portrayed as strong) would take care of it as revenge!
if anyone has read the book and knows how it ends, just let me know, but i don't care for it enough to go through the pain of reading a book written in a way that bores me!
