Well I absolutely devoured this, in one day. It was excellent! I’ve heard great things about The Silent Patient but I hadn’t gotten around to reading it yet. This one, with the Greek mythology included, caught my attention and I snatched up an ARC as quickly as I could. It was well written, you really feel as though you’re inside the mind of a therapist, examining everyone’s reaction. With an excellent plot twist and an ending leaving you wanting more! What else could one ask for in a Psychological Thriller?

I enjoyed this more than The Silent Patient honestly. Good twist and red herrings. I liked the little tie-in with The Silent Patient as well.

Basically read the whole book during a 3h train ride, which shows how fast and easy it's to read! I did expect more dark academia vibes from this and less murder mystery, but that's probably on me for not checking the authors previous work
