This short story packs a punch!! My heart was racing the whole time. Except for the goofy thing with the torch (I still can't believe he did that) everything else was pure fun. This reads like a popular action movie franchise. Nothing too complicated, nothing too deep, just good ol'mystery, thrill and action.

The cover is ugly. I wouldn't buy it if it wasn't cheap.

The book itself is not really interesting. The characters are dumb and flat. The plot is predictable. Even though it's a short book, everything happens so slow. I regret buying it.

Got stuck into this book quite quickly as it was so easy to read from the very first hapter all the way to the finish.
Loved how it was set in France in the middle of no where but I had a feeling the family were not gonna have a good relaxing holiday they had planned.
You start to pick up things very quickly when you continue reading but it was a build up to the big twist I didn't see coming either or what was going to be in store for Ray and his family on that night, all I can say is I really enjoyed reading that part very much.
The reason for the four stars is mainly due to the chapters being short and another reason is I wanted the book to have been much longer to make the build up wait a bit longer with more and longer chapters.
