This series has me at the edge of my seat at every page.

Sadly, I'm not a fan of too dramatic moments of realizations from characters, and Chapter 19-20 was too annoying for me. Loved the illustration, but the entire vibe was too dramatic for my taste. I get that it provides depth to the overall storyline, but to me, it doesn't mesh with the excitement of the action especially in a sport-centered series like this.

I love the twist, I didn't see it coming until the moment Isagi saw it too, that's the only time I had an inkling of what's about to come down.

It's hilarious how these kids keep talking to each other during a game of football as if they were at the model UN club. I wouldn't really mind if the dialogue was inspiring or solidly crafted, but it's more cringe-worthy than anything else. The tactical essence of this manga does not make much sense, and the characters are, for the most part, one-dimensional. I hate to be a downer, since everyone seems to be really enjoying this series, but I don't get the appeal. I will give it one last chance.
