I got to the end of the first part, but I didn’t listen to the extra stories at the end. It was a really neat concept, and I liked the characters, just wish there was more to the story haha!

I expected monster (insert word here) & it wasn't but I still have it 5 stars.

When I originally read the synopsis, I like a submissive monster porn. Sweet. This was so much more. This centered about understanding and acceptance with the idea of being a sub. How the right person no matter the species will treasure that submission.

Incredible world building! Lyn Gala creates an entire new culture with different nuances of language and expression.

Liam is a linguist for the army and is tasked with trading with the Rownt and learning their language and culture. Ondry is the first Rownt to trade with him and surprises Liam by being friendly and inviting. They often trade together and teach each other about their respective cultures

The D/s relationship between Liam and Ondry is unique. It’s more about intimacy than sex, but it is VERY sexy. Ondry is all about giving pleasure to Liam, his palteia. Rownts revere their palteia and consider them equals. They are to be valued and cherished.

Ondry is my new ✨dream bf✨

I blame the internet.
