I had to read this for Uni and definitely had to get used to the language. After our group discussions it was much easier to understand what they were actually talking about and I have to say that it was quite funny

This is the funniest piece of literature I've ever read. I laughed many times. Here are just a few quotes that are absolute gems:

“I never travel without my diary. One should always have something sensational to read in the train.”

"...If ever I get married, I’ll certainly try to forget the fact.
JACK: I have no doubt about that, dear Algy. The Divorce Court was specially invented for people whose memories are so curiously constituted."

“My dear fellow, the truth isn’t quite the sort of thing one tells to a nice, sweet, refined girl. What extraordinary ideas you have about the way to behave to a woman!”

"Relations are simply a tedious pack of people, who haven't got the remote knowledge of how to live, nor the smallest instinct about when to die."
Satirical, hilarious, absurd, and outrageous. Wilde's work never ceases to amaze, he is brillaint. So many exceptional one-liners !!

Ojalá llamarme Ernesto yo también

Too good. Had me legitimately laughing out loud so much that I was keeping Daniel awake. Time to watch all of the old productions yet again

Classic for a reason. The funniest little book I've ever read. Recommend!!!

This play is kinda silly not gonna lie

not this actually being kind of funny i love mr wilde he was so obvious in his ridicule i respect that

It's a silly but somehow endearing story in the usual style of the Master and I'm much satisfied with it. I genuinely laughed at some point and I only wish it had been longer.
