I still really enjoyed it, the use of multiple actors worked really well with the transcript format, but you did miss out on the page layouts and diagrams. I think I prefer reading it in the traditional format but it's great either way.
This book is so unique and beautiful. I love that it doesn't have a traditional narration and instead uses transcripts, emails and amazing art to tell the story. It made me laugh, tear up and had some surprises I was not expecting.

Definitiv ein sehr überzeugendes Buch niemals ins All zu gehen.
So eine kreative Umsetzung und auch die story, auch wenn science fiction so gar nicht mein Genre ist war das sehrrrr gut und vor allem nicht zu kompliziert. Aber das Ende war dann doch ein bisschen vorhersehbar 😔

first off i just wanna say that the use of the word "chum" throughout the book annoyed me so bad. overused to the max. however, this still couldn't distract me from this really really good book. i did not expect to like it as much as i did, and i got really really invested. it really surprised me and i really enjoyed the reading experience, it was just so so cool i can't say enough. the inner monologue of aidan was so interesting. i read this 600 page book in one sitting on the couch, i could not put it down.
Sometimes it is a little too precious to read a novel like this - made out of email, IM conversations, surveillance transcripts... But I liked this one. Kept me on my toes. I wasn't happy when the virus started taking out the passengers, but loved the rest.
Format is cool, but I cannot connect with the characters and I don't care for the plot
