My teacher read this to me in elementary school. I reread it and it is a bit creepy. Still, a fun idea though. I think making so many in the series was overkill.

A teacher had read this aloud to our class- a chapter each week- back when I was in fifth or sixth grade. It is the suspenseful story of a girl who discovers that her teacher is an alien who plans to kidnap five kids from her class to study them!

I read this a long time ago, so I don't remember much. What I do remember is that I loved this series! These books were my favorite books in the world (until I finished the whole series and moved on to new series, like Harry Potter). Definitely a book I would want to share with my kids in the future!

A fun story about a couple of kids who discover their teacher is an alien. The school hijinks were well done, the kids likeable, and the plotting for dealing with the teacher was engaging.

This quick paced story is a fun bed time read for upper Elementary students that like suspense. My son was absolutely enthralled. I read ahead because I couldn't wait until the next evening! This was a favorite of mine when I was younger and I feel as though is it still relevant to today's kids.

My Teacher is an Alien

What I Liked:
-I was surprised by the ending, which my daughter and I didn’t see coming.
-Peter was our favorite character because he likes reading. He also seemed to stick to his character the most.

Who Should Read It:
-Kiddos on summer break, this is a fun one!
-Readers who like alien stories.

Great book for second to third graders. It is short and fully of adventure while still being a school story. What would you do if you found out your teacher was an alien?
