So relatable and revolutionary in putting feelings surrounding being a woman in Korean society onto the page. But left me wanting more personal essays and less interview transcripts.

I enjoyed reading about someone I related so much to, and it was honestly validating. there was also a part here where the therapist suggested she should write the differences between how she views herself and how others view her, and that would help her with her self esteem. i tried this exercise with my loved ones and im honestly very glad I did.
the last part of the book seemed very unnecessary and overly verbose. it felt like the author was just trying to fill up the page count. i wish instead of that we got some closure or insight into how the author thinks and lives after receiving therapy.

Kind of surface level. Thought it would be more insightful but it felt like the whole book was a list of things the author had mentioned to their therapist and then the therapists respond was always just “that’s normal”

What a courageous, open book. I related so much to the author in many ways.
