Amazing

I don’t know what took me so long to read this book. It was absolutely amazing. I loved that the characters were good, but flawed people. Definitely recommend you join Tali and Les on their journey.

Whew Tali took me through it in this one. I actually thought at some point we would find out she was bipolar because she could not get it together and I was stressed. Major props for her going to therapy! Even though she gave up on it arguably too soon, kudos for her pooping herself back into it when it was needed. That’s growth and a real subtle nod to mental health maintenance!

Les just remains goals because the stuff he endured as a kid, the leech that was Asia, then to deal with Tali too? Give him a medal for sticking out life in general and another one for still having a positive outlook on it! I loved this duet but I’m an Ashley Nicole stan so that’s to be expected! I red both books in 24 hours, perfect duet to pull me from the edge of a slump!

The continuation of Tali & Les’s story is fraught with hurt and unfaithfulness. Feelings can strengthen a relationship - while at the same time causing damage.

Great series!

I absolutely loved this series. It was a great lesson on how your unresolved past can affect your future. I loved the fact that therapy was used to help the characters find their way instead them just magically “figuring it out” their own.

Great ending!

Damaged hearts can find love, but to make it last, they will have to heal from the hurt. Tali and Les learned this the hard way. I had so much respect and compassion for Les’ backstory but after reading Tali’s backstory, I had the same feelings for both. Their love came from a pure place that should have been damaged long ago. I’m so glad they pushed passed to protect something so pure and so beautiful.
