This may have actually been too cozy for me? Possibly I wasn't in the mood for this, but, instead of finding this ordinary-slice-of-life book charming, I found it boring at times. I'm glad that the main character shows growth over the course of the book, but honestly found her wallowing malaise somewhat annoying. As in I Want to Die but I Want to Eat Tteobokki, the central character's listlessness is sympathetic, and even relatable, but grating to read about for a prolonged period of time. I think that what this book is lacking compared with other similar cozy stories that I have read recently is a quirky or whimsical element that gives it an element of charm.

A beautiful look into how you can stumble upon people that you need in at a point in time in your life, and how you grow with them and are able to separate and go your own way stronger and better equipped for the next step in your life.
