Wild concept that I really enjoyed. I'm not 100% sure I love how the musing on individuality was put together with the cosmic justice angle, but it feels in character and makes sense for someone who worked at the DoD

I zipped through this book in 24 hours. It was gripping! I am still obsessively thinking about the plot.

My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish this book had been more fleshed out and broken up into two or three books. Each of the first two major "sections" deserves their own novel! The pacing seemed too squished and too brisk at times.

The main concept was sooooo good, and it hooked me right away. The characters were also fabulous. I just wanted MORE!

This book was wayyy too long. It started strong, then got boring. Then if you stick it out long enough it picks up ever so slightly. Enough to evoke hope.... to no avail.

I just got bored of listening to it. It was dragging on and on. The beginning was good with the world building and introducing the characters but then it got really philosophical and slow.

Like many reviewers, I *loved* the first part of the story. The mother/daughter story captivates the reader's imagination. The rest feels too over the top trying & I found myself tuning out swaths of the story.
