Just in time for spooky season.

**Some Spoilers**

Mauve is a lost soul who finds herself in a graveyard…six feet under. While looking for work in town she is directed to a local hotel…which, okay, NO ONE was looking out for this girl? Talk about sending a lamb to slaughter…anyway. She meet Hazel, the hotel owner, who seems a little shift. But this is a romance novel, we don’t recognize red flags here.
She begins to work the night shift and is moved into her new digs. Something begins taking over Mauve and her knight in clingy black sheet comes to save her. When Naomi says an unconventional happily ever after, believe it.

Sexy, suspenseful, short - perfect for spooky season.

Like many of Naomi’s other books this is the perfect amount of spiritually weird and sexy set in a sentient haunted hotel.

Normally I am not the biggest fan of horror, but this was an appropriate amount of suspenseful without being terrifying.

That masked man though 😮‍💨🥵.

The pacing was a little quick, but it is a novella so that should be anticipated.

Thank you to Naomi and her team for this advanced reader copy in return for my honest review.
