This book fed my soul in ways I didn’t know I needed and even before I finished I knew it was maybe my all time favorite.
I love prehistoric life. Dinosaurs have been my longest lasting SpIn and archaeopteryx has always been my favorite. And well, I named myself after trilobites. So to read poetry about these beautiful animals and the plants and single called organisms that existed with them as well, yeah, pretty darn perfect.
Originally I was going to count this book as my read harder 2022 prompt 33: Read a book by a disabled author, and I think I still will, although saying I read this one for a challenge feels wrong when it captured my heart so fully.
Original comment upon finishing: Can I rate something more than five stars? A thousand stars, a million stars, 4.5 billion stars for this one please!
