Another great book by Kathi Daley! The Saint Paddy’s Promise is the sixth in Kathi Daley’s Tess and Tilly Cozy Mystery series. Tess is a postwoman and Tillie her dog goes everywhere with her. Mike and Bree's wedding is approaching and Tess being the maid of honor/best friend is trying her best to help Bree' make the arrangements.. Tess attempting to help a woman find answers to a romance from long ago. As always Tess has Tony to help her in her adventures. And there is Tess's father who supposedly is dead...but is he!

Such a great series!! It amazes me how so much mystery and such a detailed story can be packed into a short, quick read. The series has a great and relatable cast that I have easily become invested in. There is an ongoing mystery from the start of "what really happened to Tess and Mike's dad?" No Spoilers, but you get some information in this book finally. In typical cozy fashion, there is a murder; however, the cold case surrounding the murder is so detailed and intriguing. But wait, there is more!! How about a 60 year old missing persons case! I don't see anything on Goodreads, Amazon, or the author's website about a 7th book. I am sure there will be on because we need more answers and we need to see a wedding. I am just ready for more NOW!!

This was good, I loved the central mystery of who shot Brick, it was a real rollercoaster with lots of theories, missing/hidden evidence and not many clues. I'd say this is the first book where relationship stuff largely took a back seat to the plot and was mostly Bree being a bridezilla. The side mysteries, the elderly lady looking for her loss love was wrapped up pretty quickly, both bittersweet and a bit heartbreaking. The continuing saga of Tess's father limped along in this book, but I enjoyed the ending.

Overall, a good read and I'm looking forward to the next book.

This was one of my favorite stories in the series, but the end was so rushed it was kind of disappointing.
