This book became part of my morning routine after my husband died. Beautiful quotes from various authors and artists followed by a brief passage written by Hickman.

I’ve had this book for over a decade, but I still utilize it daily. Definitely a must-have for anyone who has experienced loss of any kind ❤️

There are some nice things in here, but unfortunately those nice things are overshadowed by insidious grief shaming.

I recommend Megan Devine’s “It’s OK That You’re Not OK” instead.

This little volume has been wonderful. I might not read it faithfully each day, but when I catch up to the current day or two something good is right there for me.
