"My instincts are telling me to run toward danger."
"Your instincts are trying to kill you, Savannah."

This book had me on the edge of my seat.
I loved the story, the characters, the tension, the plot and the plot twists (Harleigh is very good at those!). I loved the spice with the two MC's and I like how the time jumps were written. My heart broke for both MC's at several points in the story. Overall, this was a book I really liked.

I am pretty sure I need to send Harleigh Beck my therapist bill because I am in love with a serial killer.

This book is a ride I didn't want to get off. The concept of a woman falling in love with a murderer isn't anything new, but the unique way Harleigh wove this story together was exceedingly enjoyable and I loved every minute.
Now, she does intentionally leave massive breadcrumbs for the reader to pick up on certain aspects, but still adds twists and turns that you won't see coming.
Highly recommend! Easy 5 star read.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC and I am so grateful for the opportunity to do so.

This story personally took me to some dark places and I was not anticipating how much my heart would physically ache during some scenes. I feel like with all books it's best to not overly explain during reviews...but, especially with a [a:Harleigh Beck|22049664|Harleigh Beck|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1651689902p2/22049664.jpg] novel.

She has such a talent for twisting up the plot, making you think she's headed one way only to drop the floor out from under you. [b:Obsession : A thriller romance|206995959|Obsession A thriller romance|Harleigh Beck|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1709484906l/206995959._SY75_.jpg|213060651] not only brought Harleigh's signature twist, but it brought a much sadder element that I wasn't prepared for as I mentioned above.

This book is mainly surrounding Savannah (FMC) however, there are several POV's that I absolutely LOVED. I want to see this in more books period moving forward; this was completely entertaining to get so many different pieces of the story through different perspectives! Robbie's (MMC) flashbacks shredded my heart, while his current day chapters had me like:

I feel like Obsession has multiple intents and once I finished, I allowed the story to sit and settle in my brain. Thinking over a lot of events that occurred and putting pieces together that had my eyes going big. I was satisfied with the way in which Harleigh delivered this beautiful, yet very, very dark tale.

I do think this book will be highly triggering to certain audiences and those looking for a "safer" type of read may be uncomfortable with the lines that Harleigh crosses. So, I would like to just have it out there that this book should be read responsibly by readers, who can buckle up for a difficult journey with an ending well worth the aches and pains. Because, believe me there are plenty of those!

I will be more than happy to pick up this book again in the future to revisit all of the characters

Wow! What a thrilling ride Harleigh takes you on in this book! At every turn you question the links between Savannah, Robbie and even Elliot. The depth of world building and character creation is unsurpassed and it drags you in before you even notice you're to the end. Sometimes even the darkest of us deserve some happiness and then others deserve far worse. This is definitely staying on my shelf to read again in the future, and my guess it will stay in your library, too.

I absolutely loved this book and I needed more Robbie & Savannah !! Everything about this book had me so intrigued. The spice was just right, the storyline was gripping and the way it was written with the flashbacks gave it and the characters such depth! Like in the nonfictional world serial killers are captivating and people just want to know more about how they think and why they do what they do, well this was right there and it was so good!! There isn’t anything I didn’t like and I look forward to more from Harleigh Beck.

Just wow

This is the 1st book iv read by harleigh, and holy f**k was it good. The choke hold my man Robbie had on me! I should not have loved him as much as I did. He literally broke out of prison and refused death row until he had slayed savannahs demons. Did I just add another book boyfriend to the harem? You bet I did.

"What on earth did I just devour? I braced myself for the shock, but wow! I'm obsessed. The deadly duo of a serial killer and a reporter was pure gold. This book had me on edge, my jaw hitting the floor with every twist. A heart-pounding thriller that's now my top pick. Stumbling upon this gem was pure luck. Huge thanks for giving me a sneak peek because I am absolutely hooked!"

Please read all warnings!

I really enjoyed reading this book. It’s about a reporter who interviews a serial unaliver on de@th row. They meet once a week and she gets his story on how he became who he did. While she is fighting her attraction to him, she is trying to remind herself of everything he did. Eventually she can no longer deny her feelings for him. He escapes from jail and stalks her while she is also being stalked by another serial unaliver. The plot for this book was amazing and the twists were good, the spice was there I would rate 3
