Fun, light story for summer. I liked the atmosphere it was set in and the characters were interesting. It’s a debut novel and might be why the writing was a bit clunky at times but overall I really enjoyed. I’ll try more by this author.

This book was better than I expected and reminded me of Mary Jane. The second half surprised me with the turn it took, but not in an unsatisfying way.
Good story, a couple of shocking revelations, but didn’t end the way I had predicted my my head. 3.5 stars.
