This was really interesting. It starts off with a crime and slides along with the usual bits - evidence, guilt, manipulation, police procedure etc. Ebbs and flows as a few years go by, and then it suddenly becomes something else entirely.
A lot has been said about the opening of this book, but I rather enjoyed that twisty, creepy ending.

Really did not hold my attention. They didn't bury the lead at the beginning enough to get me interested. I’m sure there’s some sort of twist but it’s not enough to make me want to continue.
