Read this book in about 6 hours total. It was a page turner for me and I wanted to know what was going to happen next constantly. I did read things and feel sad but never cried. The relationship between Em and her mother was definitely a rough one. While I understood the grief and how her mother was acting… it made me mad because SHE IS THE MOM. She isn’t the only one grieving. This book did an amazing job at depicting grief, loss, illnesses, suffering, and healing.
The way that relationships formed, broke, and healed in this book was a tug at my heart strings. I could see this book being potentially triggering for someone with an auto immune disease or someone who has a loved one with one. While it did an amazing job (I assume- I wouldn’t know personally) showing what it’s like to live with lupus, it still very sad. It’s a bit of a beautiful way to educate the world.

This book made me ugly cry so bad in the most beautiful heartbreaking way!
I loved Emery and Kaiden from they met even when he was being a cheeky sod. It will take my a while to get over the heartbreak of this book if I ever will!

Ok let's make one thing clear. I can read the most emotional books but I never cry.
This book made me cry if you hadn't figured it out yet.

Man this book really pulls your heart strings. I don't often cry from books, but this one sure did it.
The story line is great. It got you in the feels. It had some good spice. And I loved the epologue.
