I cried a lot while reading this.
Some thoughts that are written are deep and introspective, while others seem cheap and done for a certain reaction.
I realize that I dislike bitter endings unless thereβs a little sweet, and there was no sweetness in this book.
I hate reading romance involving illness that ends with death, because I think too much about the author writing the words. Do they cause the character more pain just to further the narrative? Do they kill the character off just for instant gratification of quick emotions? Am I just reading this sad book because I want to cry over something that real but not real?

I read this book in one sitting I was absolutely hooked. This is such a beautiful story of strength and resilience. Although it broke my heart it was a beautifully written story. Building family bonds and friendships. I loved this book so much π©·

I have known from the beginning that something like that could happen. But I still wasn't ready.
Emery and Kaiden broke my heart.
But yes, just as Barbara said in hers note on the end of the book, this is one realistic story. And you all should read it.
