A fantastic sequel to The Thursday Murder Club. The weaker parts of the first entry have really been improved upon here. The overall mystery is more contained and easy to follow along with good number of twists. We really spend more time with both main and side characters exploring dynamics and how events affect them mentally. I appreciated the realism of some of the more relatively mundane struggles such as loneliness in a new city or learning to love yourself as well as someone else. This book has solidified for me that whenever I’m looking for a fun and enjoyable read, I can always return to this series!

I'd avoided this series for a while because of the hype but since I eventually read the first one last year and really liked it, I thought I'd continue with the series. I listened to the audiobook again this time and it was a great way to experience the story. It was fun returning to these characters and I thought the mystery was really engaging. Osman's writing is very clever and I like the gentle humour.

Wonderful sequel to Thursday Murder Club. Full of suspense and devilish plot twists. The Thursday Murder Club amp up their shenanigans and get into more trouble than they bargained for.

Another good one by Richard Osman! this time with some more sections that made me laugh out loud and I fell even more in love with the characters! Definitely found the last like 20 pages to be a bit of a drag, but that often happens once you solve the mystery! Pic looking forward to reading the next one

Absolutely cracking mystery, with lots of well-developed characters, and a fun mystery at the centre. The audiobook was particularly good too.

Sequels don’t usually hit the same as their predecessors. BUT. The Man Who Died Twice may have been even better than The Thursday Murder Club. I LOVED the focus on spies and the deeper dive into Elizabeth’s past. It was a book I never wanted to end! I laughed out loud many a time and marked several pages to go back to later. Soooo excellent!!!
