A delightful return to Coopers Chase and the gang. Of course of course everything works out conveniently, but would it be as enjoyable if it didn't? (No.) Loved getting to know more of the backstories for so many characters, especially Elizabeth and Stephen. Precious.

I love these books, I really do! I can see myself as one of the "gang", Joyce most likely, and I really enjoy british humour!
Was the story completely outrageous? It was. But between us, how many mystery books have you read with down-to-earth stories and protagonists (that weren't written by Sir Conan Doyle or Agatha Cristie)? So yes, I couldn't care less that the plot is upsurd, I had lots of fun, and that's what really matters!

A fantastic sequel to The Thursday Murder Club. The weaker parts of the first entry have really been improved upon here. The overall mystery is more contained and easy to follow along with good number of twists. We really spend more time with both main and side characters exploring dynamics and how events affect them mentally. I appreciated the realism of some of the more relatively mundane struggles such as loneliness in a new city or learning to love yourself as well as someone else. This book has solidified for me that whenever I’m looking for a fun and enjoyable read, I can always return to this series!

I'd avoided this series for a while because of the hype but since I eventually read the first one last year and really liked it, I thought I'd continue with the series. I listened to the audiobook again this time and it was a great way to experience the story. It was fun returning to these characters and I thought the mystery was really engaging. Osman's writing is very clever and I like the gentle humour.

Wonderful sequel to Thursday Murder Club. Full of suspense and devilish plot twists. The Thursday Murder Club amp up their shenanigans and get into more trouble than they bargained for.
