Ahhhhh. So good. I love when people get what they deserve. I love Samir. Talia writes so well and weaves such lovely stories together.  The romances are nice, but the friendships she puts in these books? Absolutely sensational. I love Ruth and I love seeing women be freed from violent, disgusting men.

I believe you.

Once again Talia Hibbert comes into my life to save it. I loved this novella so so so much.

As always, Hibbert delivers characters that are unique and have distinct struggles to overcome. In this one Laura broke my heart but also mended it with her abusive ex-husband. She was so traumatized and certain no one could actually treat her right and respect her and adore her. Ugh. My poor heart. With Samir... I just loved how wholeheartedly he gave himself to Laura. He had such few hesitations before he went all in and was madly in love. Ugh. I love to see it. I stan male characters that absolutely adore their love interest.

The reason this got 4 stars instead of 5 is because not all plot points were resolved by the end. Samir could have used a bit more development. And the epilogue was revoltingly cheesy. Still. These were minor gripes for a novella that made me so happy I read it in one night (which I practically never do!).

All I gotta say is that I will continue to steadily read all of Talia Hibbert’s works because she’s a genius. She’s hilarious. Her humor is absolute perfection. And her characters always worm their way into my heart. What else is there to say? We love to see it.
