I was surprised at how much I liked this story, although there was a lot of suspension of disbelief involved. Good story-telling and interesting characters.

I loved this book. There were some unbelievable sections - Raffy in particular drove me nuts but that's part of what I enjoyed about the book. It hit every note - funny, a little sad, a little sentimental. Good characters- you are rooting for all of them at one time or another even when they are working against each other. I couldn't put it down.

I've read 240 pages of this 400+ books, and I just can't finish it. If school hadn't have started back up and I were reading it during summer break, I probably would've finished it. With school back in session, pleasure reading time is precious, especially since I check my books out from the library. I have a deadline to finish these and if I'm not interested, I won't make time to read.

I've been annoyed by the book from the beginning. The main character is a pilot, and I got really tired about reading about planes and jets. Another main character is obsessed with movies. I got tired of movie quotes. While reading I didn't care about any of the characters. I had no investment in the story at all.

This book reads like a novice writer's first draft. The dialogue is corny. The characters are one-dimensional, one-trick ponies. The narrative is repetitive, as if the author's story blocks included the same details in multiple places, and at least one time a scene in which a proposal occurs starts by calling the character the fiance -- before we know he's the fiance. Ugh. (I attribute this failure to the editor.) The symbolism of names and common props are hit-you-over-the-head obvious. I could go on, but I won't.

The only reason I finished it was to find out what the final con was going to be, and even that didn't provide a payoff. I should have quit this book.

This was a nook freebie that I enjoyed reading, but found a bit predictable. I didn't think Sam's character was very well developed. I never could understand why she would want someone she loved to be married to such a cheating, narcissistic man. At any rate, it was a quick read that played out sort of like an episode of Miami Vice.

The story was pretty good.. but the author could have cut this thing in half and it would have been MUCH better. It's very wordy and it's very, VERY repetitive. There's almost too many character towards the end.

Pretty good plot, but could have been shorter.

This is a huge book, but it was captivating. I enjoyed the characters, the story, and trying to figure out the mysteries within the book. I'd recommend it to my friends...despite the language, which I could have done without!

This was a free book on my kindle. It could have been so much better. It needed some serious help with pacing, character development and writing.
