This is my least favorite book in this serie, but it did end the series well. I liked it, because I liked the whole world of Caraval.

Such a perfect ending!
I really love this series, it’s so beautifully written and just such a great story about sisters.
I didn’t love this one as much as the first two but I still enjoyed it a lot. I’m sad it’s all over.

Some parts felt very long and overdrawn, while other parts felt quick enough to give you whiplash. Plot was decent but felt repetitive and predictable.

Good Finale

So much has been added to this story what I thought what I was going into completely flipped and turned on its head on me! It was a satisfying ending but since I read Once upon a broken Heart before reading this series I want to go back and re read it knowing that Scarlett and Donatella made an appearance in that book. But with a certain prophecy of sorts was made I hope we get a book of that future

As much as I liked the morally gray characters and the plot, both tella and Scarlett were getting on my nerves with their stupid decisions, and the ending was rushed — they were trying to figure out how to solve all their issues for weeks only to figure it out in the span of like a minute at the end.
Also, not a fan of the winning with the power of love theme that it was relaying (although I did like the message that it was more important than power). I think if it wasn’t the solution to all of their problems then it wouldn’t have bothered me so much.
The concept of the story was still great though and even though jacks is a little insane he was the highlight of this.
