4.5⭐️ Magic, tragedy, humor, and an abundance of love. I loved this whole series and I’m so glad I read it. The Finale was perfect and I feel like I want more, but am also complete (if that makes sense). 

I’m not going to go into a ton of detail with this review because after reading, I feel like everyone just needs to experience the series for themselves. 

Hop on the rollercoaster that is this world and enjoy (or not) the magical world of Caraval, because I sure did😍

(4.25) hot take! I did not like tella and I didnt really care about her and legend's romance. I may be boring cause I preferred scarlett and julian but tella and legend's ending was very... I dont know how to describe it. Oh I know! Boring. {It may have annoyed me a little too}

spoilers! Also can we talk about the fact that from the moment it was revealed that dante is legend he lost his whole personality and became this boring one dimensional character that is there just so tella can cry over being in love with him while her sister is being tortured?

Listennnnn. Did I see all the poor reviews and think "oh man, am I going to be annoyed that I wasted my time on this series?!" Yes! Did I stay up till almost 3AM finishing Finale to find out how it ends?! Also YES. This book devoured me and spit me back out and I didn't hate it! Stephanie Garber did something truly unique with this series. I enjoyed the mysterious and magical world of Caraval and Valenda. The cast of characters were fun and vibrant. 

I know some people say you don't have to read the Caraval series before reading the Once Upon a Broken Heart series. But I think it enhances the experience. 

Is the book perfect? No. Were there some plot holes and/or gaps missed? Sure. Did it sour my reading experience at all? Nope!

Ik vond de eerste twee boeken in deze serie wel oke, maar niet super leuk. Maar dit derde boek was wel echt veel leuker wua verhaallijn en de karakters waren minder oppervlakkig. Echt een leuk boek met spannende wendingen!
