Me ha gustado pero no tanto como creía... el libro esta genial, la historia super original pero siento que deja muchos temas abierto y el final no me ha gustado nada. Mi puntuación para la trilogía entera nose si se queda en 3 o 4 estrellas.

Okay. This was probably the weakest of the series but it's still a 3.5 and I had such a fun time in the world that I'm rounding up.
Tella became a little bit of a Bella Swan in this - the whole "literally everyone, including gods and immortals, are obsessed with her" thing got old pretty fast. As did the weird drama with Legend. He clearly can love. Stop saying that he can't just because you read that. Also, you're 17. Be single.
I did love that there were several Twilight-esque things - the dramatic "let me make you immortal" conversation, the weird way that power was transferred by drinking blood even though vampires weren't a thing.
The "love triangle" between Scarlett, Julian, and Nicholas was absolutely unnecessary.
The Fallen Star was defeated SO EASILY. And I have little patience for "bad guy is easily swayed to be good and loving" thing. Also, Scarlett trying to make him love her by making him think he was her mother was... choice. Also the addition of time travel felt like a little much even in such a fantastical world.
Couldn't they have used Scarlett's blood? She was related to the Fallen Star...
There was no one better to rule an entire empire than an 18 year old with no experience? Good luck, Valenda.
The conflicts in this book were solved pretty easily. When the Maiden Death and the Assassin had Legend's performers I was like "this is gonna get exciting" but they basically said they wanted to help Tella and Legend and were just...making a statement?
I know this sounds like a lot of gripes but I did have great time. I just wanted a more exciting conclusion. The Fates were such cool villains and I wish they had been utilized better. But I'm very excited to follow Jacks some more.
A great series!
The book was, again, way steamier than I expect from YA. But that's not necessarily a bad thing.
