I really enjoyed Emery and Oliver’s story! This had a lot of sad moments but just as many sweet moments to make up for it.

So so so good.

As I expected there were tears. So many tears.

First book by this particular author. I really enjoyed the book. I loved the characters. Could relate to how Oliver feels most days even before the tragedy. Emery is a strong woman who has fought every step of her life. ❤️

Wow, this was such a heart-wrenching story! The themes of grief, anxiety, and depression were present.

This story started off with a sad event that I did not expect. But it still It took me a bit to get into the story; I did enjoy it though.

Finding out the truth about Reese’s parentage was a bit shocking. The truth about Emory’s father not being her actual father? Well, I saw that coming when her parents “scolded” her sister for getting pregnant at a young age and Emery called her parents out on how young they were when they had her (Emory).

I did like that Oliver’s mental health was addressed and the story showed him slowly healing. Also, Emory’s sister finally decided to get the help she didn’t want to believe she needed.

Wow. I have no words. This was so tragically beautiful. I was hooked from the very first page.

The way people deal with grief is so different yet always so raw and emotional. I can’t even imagine dealing with this AND your mental health while in the spotlight. Let alone grieving a twin.

There are so many laugh out loud moments! And the family aspect was yet again, tragically beautiful..

I’m at a loss for words. Just trust me and read this!

Ehh I finished this book feeling nothing and also didn’t connect to any of the characters. I did just want to finish it while I was reading but overall it helped me get to reading again so it was good in between book.

Wouldn’t read again or necessarily recommend as a book I loved or could think of a specific person who would want to read it.

Can two non rich or even famous people find love as well in these books?

Such a great book with so many life lessons learned. I felt like I was getting my own little therapy session. The love between Emery and Oliver is beautiful as well as the love between Reese and Oliver.

Favorite quote: “You found me when my heartbeats were hardly there, and you stamped them. You stamped my heart, and that’s why it’s still beating.”

Few things:
I wanted to read how the recording destroyed Cams career!
Also, why didn’t Emery ever tell Oliver about her sisters water breaking on their feet???

DNF 50%

Not sure what’s happening with Brittany c. Cherry’s writing but for me her books have lost the magic & depth they used to have.

Cute story, not sweet but definitely not spicy
