I loved this book! This author is starting to become one of my favorites.
Oliver was the sweetest Hero and Emery was such a strong Heroine, I loved them both. Reese was adorable and her banter with Oliver was the best!

An Highly Emotional Book That I Loved!
I loved reading this highly emotional slow burn book! I loved the depth of both main characters. The book was written in such a way that the reader could easily feel the heavy emotions of both Oliver and Emery. I enjoyed so many thought provoking lines throughout the book, especially ones given by Abigail, the neighbor and therapist. I loved the way the mixtape was used along with the characters’ playlists. It’s been a while since I read a book I couldn’t put down. I stayed up late to finish this one.

This is one of the best romance books I've read in a long time. It was unique, emotional and extremely authentic.
The FMC is one of my favourite lead characters from any romance book. She's the most genuinely kind person and showcases incredible strength and unwavering devotion to those she loves throughout the whole book. In almost every chapter, a new scene would occur where I'd think, 'wow this chick is amazing!'.
The love story between Emery and Oliver was beautifully done. They both showed up for each other in every way that mattered and knew each other completely.
The plotline outside of the romance was the thing that set this book apart from other romances. Emery's struggles with single parenthood and the issues that arise later in the book had me bouncing back and forth between infuriated and heartbroken. She deserved so much better. And the issues between Oliver and Cam had my BLOOD BOILINGGGGG!!!
I listened to this on the free Kindle Unlimited audiobook and the narrators did a great job! So I'd recommend the audiobook.
Overall, this is a must read, whether your a romance lover or not. I adored this book.

A beautiful story about growing thru the toughest days. Books like this are a reminder of how life can really take a turn, but you’re not alone even in your darkest days. I definitely will read again one day

4.5⭐️ This book was so good and underrated. I didn’t know much about this book when I read it but it was good, but also sad. I will say this is a romance so it does have a happy ending which these characters definitely deserved after all that they went through. This is a single parent romance where both of the main characters have been through a lot and the fmc becomes a personal chef for the mmc so it has forced proximity romance.
