Emery and Oliver are both broken souls that found comfort and love with each other

Emery is a single mom who grew up with a toxic religious family. She has a sister Sammie that was raped (produced Reese). Reese was raised by Emery who lived paycheck to paycheck until she met her idol at the bar she works at.

Oliver Smith was a singer with his twin brother Alex. Alex died in a car crash which caused Oliver to be sad and depressed. He had a hard time being alone and he’s always overthinking things. He hired Emery as his chef and later on fell in love with her and Reese.

This book is full of love and family (from Oliver’s family, Kelly, the mom-daughter, Tyler — his manager?).

Oh my this book made me cry and throw up but I loved it sm!

What a beautiful and breathtaking story!!! another amazing read by BC ♥️

This book reminded me of why I fell in love with this author books so long ago. I adored both Oliver and Emory and found myself drawn to their emotional journeys. The strong secondary characters made this a complete win.
