Es war so unglaublich alles.
Reese ist mein Lieblingscharakter, sie ist so knuffig. Die ernsten Themen wurden so gut dargestellt und ich hab es sehr wertgeschätzt wie zur Therapie gehen als normal angesehen wurde.
Klitzekleiner Kritikpunkt: Der Schreibstil wurde bei manchen Szenen von sehr berührend zu vulgär was irgendwie unpassend/unangenehm war.

As I wipe happy tears from my face, I am taken by what a beautiful story I just finished. I fell in love with every single character! The character development was on another level! I want to crawl back into Emery and Oliver's world and stay a while longer. My favorite read of 2021! I cannot recommend Mixtape highly enough!

Oliver and Alex are twin brothers, we'll known for their music. When Alex dies, Oliver finds it terribly difficult to go on.
Emery is struggling to raise her daughter and find work at the same time, managing with only a bartender job at night.

Finally got around to finishing a book after almost a month. I needed this light read after struggling through My Dark Vanessa. You can finish this in about a day so ideal when you want to take your mind off stuff.

I think I'm rounding up to 4? I enjoyed a lot of this and also the last 1/3 was just too many coincidences for me to have any suspension of disbelief EVEN THOUGH I knew most of it was coming. Also, Emery wishes she had met Alex? What was that scene at the beginning? So so much smirking. I'm going to need to take a break from books that smirk.

This was such a beautiful yet heart breaking love story. I can't imagine what Emery & Sammy went through growing up with those parents. I know that experience made things so much worse for Sammy when her tragedy happened. I am so glad Emery learned the truth and was able to heal from her abusive childhood. I'm glad Sammie broke free from her controlling, abusive parents & get the help she needed. I wish the book had mentioned what happened to Cam after the reporter sent out the recording. I would love to know how Karma affected her and if Oliver received justice for all she had done to him.

Ok let me just talk about this book for a hot little minute! I absolutely adore books where you forget you’re reading because everything seems so real, and that’s what this book did to me. Emery and Oliver became real to me and I fell so hard
