I’m going to correct the title to, “How to Not Date Men When Men Already Don’t Want to Date You”. Lolol.
But her references to pop culture are fun, and I genuinely liked the chapter about how women conflate wanting to be like a man they met with wanting to date them.

I saw this on bookstagram and got intrigued by the title but it didn’t live up to what I expected. As someone from Goodreads said, it “Was entertaining, but was a bit too much about dating and not enough about hating men for my taste.”

Probably 3.5, laughed out loud multiple times which bumps it up of course. Overall average and agreeable, very straight. Could’ve and should’ve delved deeper into the actual root of het/cis attraction.

It felt like shrill but funnier in a young. Her reflection on chill women and the connection between eating disorders and woman’s struggle for feminism was interesting. It was like a more easily understood trick mirror.
