This beginning to an outstanding series will test your imaginative, creative eye. This novel, as well as the entire series, paints an indelible vision of an invented world seen through the eyes of one extraordinary child hero. These touching novels redeem humans, and more specifically, they show the empathy and resilience of children.

Awesome, Awesome book. Very readable. Even if it is for like 11 year olds, it doesn't feel childish. Although I do wish it was a little heftier.
