Een mooi en magisch boek over een avond vol met sneeuw, dieren, glittering, en meer! Ik heb er enorm van genoten, de schrijfstijl was erg mooi en paste bij het magische van de sneeuwval. De illustraties waren prachtig~
Aanrader!

How I enjoyed every bit of the poetry in this book. Loved the drawings, found them a little dark at times, but hey it is winter. Loved the book.

1. No awards
2. Kindergarten- grade 2
3. Jean E. Pendziwol creates a lyrical poem that draws one into the cold, starry, northern night. With simple drawings and soft words, Pendziwol creates a winter wonderland for young readers.
4. This wonderful storybook creates a magical world, around a boy softly laid in his bed, under a fuzzy blanket, while creatures roam around at night. Pendziwol creates a lyrical poem sure to inspire all.
5. This book is a great example of non rhyming poetry. It also can be used for its adjective use throughout the poem to describe in great detail.

This book is so sweet. Just like I said for the 'Man with the Violin' book, I think this would do wonders to watch. The illustrations are so simple but beautiful and lovely. Even though it's only October, Christmas has been on my mind, and this book added to that.

I think this illustrator is great! Such sweet, soft drawings! This good night story is great also because it doesn't urge anyone to sleep, but gives us a nice description of what happens after we fall to sleep! Wonderful! What a great combination.

So I read a French translation of this work, "Par une belle nuit d'hiver", and the illustrations make that bearable (great, even, I love the French text).

I think this is very cute, definitely more along the lines of a read-to than read along. The illustration is absolutely gorgeous and I love the way the words on some pages tumble out of your mouth. It reads like a lullaby feels, and it's so gentle and calming.

Maybe it was 75 degrees Fahrenheit on Halloween, but it will snow again someday, and I hope I will have this book on hand to express the magic of a snowfall, because I am totally not up to the task, what with the shoveling and the wet feet and what-all.
