Dreo my little meow meow (he's mob muscle and has definitely killed people).

I loved it! I wasn't sure about this category, but how can you go wrong with Mary Calmes? I loved Nate to death, and I want my own sexy Dreo. The secondary characters were wonderful and just as real as the heroes. And no bitchy women! All around, great story, great story-telling and great plot. Highly recommended!

I just wish there were more. I have a hard time getting invested knowing it's a one-and-done.

*3.5* This story was a flaming pile of cow dung until it wasn't anymore.

There were too many characters, everyone was beautiful, there was way too much drama, and for the first hundred pages I thought the H was going to get together with the doctor, and that would've made me furious. How shocking and lovely when it turned out to be the incredibly hot, 27 year-old Italian mobster neighbor across the hall?!

✔️18 year MM age gap
✔️English professor vs mob muscle
✔️Sweet love whispered in Italian

I am once again a victim to my own, "I downloaded this book months ago and completely forgot the premise." But yay for continuing the ongoing battle to clear out my Kindle of older stories.

Ok, oddly written characters the primary was way too touchy-feely.

Well, I couldn't help but see a little of Jory and Sam in Nate and Dreo, but this was less of a wild ride into chaos. I love how balanced Nate was, and the possessiveness in Dreo was scorching. I wanted more of their relationship though, but its not much of a complaint.

Thank you Mwana for steering me towards this one :D

This was fun! Unbelievable and kinda ridiculous at times but still fun in a typical Mary Calmes way :)
I can see myself revisiting this story as a comfort book and it doesn't hurt that Sean Crisden did a great job narrating this book.
