She snort-giggles, the sound loud and uncouth and utterly full of amusement, and I’m completely charmed. I’m fascinated by this cake-devouring, giggle-snorting delicate creature.

A short and cute little read! Very little sustenance and does not really drive the plot but certainly enjoyable!

It was great reading Milly and Verrik’s story! I wanted way more depth to this but it was solid for a novella.

Sci-fi meets historical!? Only Ruby Dixon could pull off something so brilliant.

We have a high status Mesakkah who is tired of attending lavish parties for fun. While trying to be swooned by a lady, he sees a human slave and must have her for himself.

Also leave it to Ruby to show me that I can handle insta-love out of the fated mates trope. All the books that I have read in the Risdaverse series are pretty insta-lovey but I have adored them all. Everybody should know by now that I think Ruby can do no wrong. #sorrynotsorry
