Loved the second book as much as the first book. I just wish that Wren had more of a backbone and I hope her character develops further on in the series .

This book was okay, the FMC development is severely lacking, going to a supernatural school that specializes in war training and she does nothing? This book would be nice if it had a strong FMC. I also like a good manly cry but why are every one of her mates constantly crying? I want to finish the series but the ending is making it hard.

Wow! Just...wow!
Term 2 was full of love and Wren showing her growth. The guys are almost all bonded and things are getting dicey. War is upon the academy and loss has already reared its ugly head. The story is moving along nicely and I can't wait to see what's coming next.

Sometimes, it was hard to believe that this only takes place shortly after the first book, and within a few months of book one starting. I do like that each book will take course during one term.
Wren has some trauma to work through from Term 1, and mate bonds to navigate. Damien will always be my favorite, then I think Kian. He’s a sweetheart. Damien is the best psycho.
I can see some big character development changes for Rhett coming soon. There were times I wanted to reach in to the book and smack some sense in to him, but really, it’s something the character must come to on their own. He’ll do it eventually, I just know it.
The character developments that did happen during this book were half expected and half surprise. I’m looking forward to the next book!

I feel like this series took the BookTok world by storm when it first came out. 7 mates all with different supernatural species and one artic fox shifter female. It's a lot to handle. Term 2 was nothing short of phenomenal.
