- miscommunication trope is still as annoying and unnecessary as ever. i absolutely would have enjoyed this book more if they had worked things out with communication like the smart people they’re supposed to be

DNF at 30%. Too much descriptions on the spicy scenes which started basically right away without giving us much information on the main characters. Those scenes were also way too long and I wanted more substance in the story. It also seems unrealistic that they seem to be “falling for each other” and already seeming to get jealous when they literally just met a few days ago and haven’t spent much time together, it seems like they’re more just attracted to each other
This book was much more spicy then I usually read, lots of sex scenes- but I loved the characters and how they grew.
