Why was the dinner ending a copy paste of the movie shrek 2 but with a cougar sugar mommy and not Fiona?

The last 10% of the book was so rushed, I almost forgot to read it as I thought it was the notes about the author.

Other than those two stand out issues, I quite liked the book - but it was more of a
sex fest
between two characters who didn’t know they wanted each other until they got smacked in the fact with a metaphorical broom. Michael is a relatable character, but milks the daddy issues - and Stella is stubborn, and sometimes unwilling.

It’s a weird one. I liked the book, the writing kept me engage - just upon reflection after reading, I felt it was full of stupid little details that either were A) not needed or B) totally absent.

I think I went into this with too high expectations. I liked the representation of autism in the romance genre. However, a couple of times I found that
consent got a little bit shaky
There were some cute moments but overall I didn't see why the characters should be together? Clearly they were attracted to each other physically but I don't think the emotional side was fleshed out enough.

unlike many, this book had me gripped. i love the dual pov, the characters changed throughout. the main characters asperger's syndrome really spread light on the concept for me, and it was really interesting to read her perspective of events. the smut was also extremely good in this book.

More like 3.7 stars.

Stella is great at econometrics. (this is the first time I have heard of such a career. Seems like they make tons of cash.) She is autistic, hates sex and hates French kissing even more. She hires Micheal to teach her his ways and things take off from there.

Stella has quite a lot going through her mind and the author did great job of portraying her nature. I haven't read many books or watched movies on this so it was eye opening for me. Her perspective on different things made be do a double take. She was such a lovable character and memorable in every sense of word. Micheal the hero, has his issues but he was understanding and a pretty descent guy. He had his flaws and so did Stella but I thought they made a great couple.

The culture representation was beautifully done and the family dynamic felt completely natural. (at 19 I still fight with my 10 yo brother

i have no words. the ending got me crying. stella and michael take my money, take my soul, i don’t want it
