ok obvious horny-bits aside, this love story is cute and it’s really nice to read about romance experiences from an autistic author. the typical third act break up was annoying but overall a calm read.

(3.5/5) - the booktok girlies are cooking! these cartoon covers are hilarious though because why was this filed under 'children's books' in the charity shop! this was quite a unique rom-com and whilst it did have its flaws (unnecessary and drawn-out misunderstandings!) and it was unexpectedly a bit feral, it was also quite sweet?

I liked everything outside of the two tbh and that’s few things. It felt fetishized when Michael was described as half white and half Asian. We don’t even know what Stella is. I’m gonna assume white. Then he had to think a pretty common practice Buddhist homes of offering food to the dead as silly. Like. What? Couldn’t care for romance before but I pulled thru for a summer reading challenge fill.
