I don't read romance very often - in fact, I couldn't name the last romance book I read - but Hoang has delivered a sweet, readable romance with enough cute and steamy bits to bolster me through some dark, literary reads. I was recommended this book after a heavy and dramatic read. She said it was funny, light, and hot. And she was so right... I was obsessed with this book! It had everything I want in a book: hot hero, steamy scenes, a flawed but perfect heroine. So many funny parts to this book that were laugh-out-loud.

Stella, a high functioning econometrician, serves as the protagonist. Her quest is to find a date to a charity benefit. The issue is that her experience with sex and dating has been awful in the past. So she turns to a male escort to educate her on the subject.
This rom-com of a story was delightful in having a female person who lives with autism at its core and a Vietnamese-Swedish love interest. I like how it challenged gender stereotypes and demonstrated the value of looking at someone for who they were and not how their family or labels might describe them.

Me gusto como Michael ayudaba a que Stella se sintiera más cómoda en su piel y le enseñara sobre esos temas que ella pensaba que no era buena. Stella jamás jusgo a Michael por lo que se dedicaba, además de apreciarlo a él como persona, valoraba lo que el tenía para ofrecer, las cosas que le gustaban como el diseño de moda y ayudo a la familia de el.
