I love that the female protagonist was autistic because we love representation, but I would like to know how much research went into the character. The author lost me with the main conflict being poor communication. Stella is too honest, except when it comes to the ending and conflict of the story. I hate a miscommunication climax. Overall cute and very steamy.

It was fun to read a story with the main character having high-functioning autism, especially a romance novel. I enjoyed reading her perspective on her relationship and Michael's empathy and character arc. Overall it was a light, beach read romance!

I had to renew it 4 times and that should have been a sign. The last straw was ch. 22 When Michael forced himself on Stella to “erase every last trace of that piece of shit “. Date rape is dangerous.

This was a reread. I had forgotten how much I liked this book. I identified with the MC a lot. Her love of order and neatness just spoke to my ocd soul! Loved the love story in it as well. The only thing I didn’t like was the miscommunication/ lack of talking between the MC and love interest.
