“...I also want to thank you for something.”
“For what?”
“For jumpstarting my heart.”
Bob Williams’s newest novel Everything Changes is a fresh take on tragedy. Davy Crockett, our protagonist, learns to overcome the hardships thrown at him, one by one. In doing so, he grows closer to his wacky family and Gina.
The lovely language, charming characters, and intriguing story made reading the novel fulfilling and brought everything full-circle with that last conversation the Gina and Davy have in Chapter 41. His attention to word choices and plot are two of the things that makes the imagery unique and story seem lifelike. It’s a wholesome read! I recommend to anyone looking for a contemporary fictional work.
