A bit slower in pacing, especially compared to the story so far.
I understand that the characters needed a respite after everything from the last volume, but there's also a threshold for how far to suspend the main plot. I think these chapters almost went past it.

Other than that, it's still been Kui's signature combination of wholesome and dreadful, and I'm anticipating what direction Kabru's story goes after the way this volume ended!!

Kui is a master when it comes to pacing and drama, the introduction of Kabru's aspirations AND THEN to mix him with Shuro's group is just amazing. Dungeon Meshi is fiction like no other. It is so fascinating. I always think the attitude of the party is a bit laissez faire but maybe that's indicative of the in-world culture? Though I'd have no idea how to react if an evil wizard kidnapped my sister and turned her into a dragon, so maybe their reaction is normal.
